December 2023 | Winchester, Virginia: On December 16, 2023 for Wreaths Across America day something special happened. The Winchester Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol joined forces with Tri-State Nissan to honor our veterans on Wreaths Across America day. This is a day when communities all over the country come together to put remembrance wreaths on the graves of fallen heroes.
A Symbolic Gathering at Winchester National Cemetery
The Winchester National Cemetery, a place where many heroes rest, was the center of this important event. The Winchester Composite Squadron, made up of young cadets (aged 12 to 21) and senior members (aged 18 and older), played a big role. With about 87 cadets and 41 senior members, the squadron is a diverse group of people who want to serve their community and remember those who served our nation.
