Front Royal Christmas Parade 2022 

Front Royal, VA, December 2022: “We grow good people in our small town, with honesty and sincerity and dignity” What a great time at the Front Royal Christmas Parade last Saturday. We enjoyed seeing the community come together. And a BIG THANK YOU to the Front Royal Warren County Chamber of Commerce for a great event. Plus, Marlow Motor Company was an honorable mention for the Most Creative Float Award. We can’t wait to do it again next year.

Speed Networking Event at Emil & Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center  

Winchester, VA, November 2022: “Show me a successful individual and I’ll show you someone who had real positive influences in his or her life” What a great time we had meeting all the students last week at the first Speed Networking Event at Emil & Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center. This event focused on seniors who are undecided about a career path. The Marlow Auto Group (Marlow Motor Company, Tri-State Nissan & Marlow Ford) was one of over 30 companies that participated in this event. We had the honor of talking to over 35 students in 4 minutes intervals. Thanks to John Handley High School & Winchester Public Schools for this great event.

Speed Networking Event at Emil & Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center

Hosted “Bussiness After Hours” Networking Event For The Chamber Of Commerce

Winchester, VA, October 2022:  Every month, the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber holds an after-hours networking event designed for members to meet and build relationships with business people from small, mid-size, and large companies and organizations representing a variety of industries. The October Event was at Tri-State Nissan. This night was a perfect example of connecting business and community resources for mutual success. Three organizations with one great story. Dowell J. Howard Center Trunk-or-Treat Car Show

Winchester, VA, October 2022: “A great evening for the community to bring kids out for a safe Trunk-or-Treat” What a great time we had on Saturday at the Dowell J. Howard Center Trunk or Treat Car Show. The Marlow Auto Group won the “Best Trunk Display” award. We look forward to participating in this event next year.

Worlds of Work at Shenandoah University

Winchester, VA, October 2022: Marlow Auto Group had a great time at the Worlds of Work Event at Shenandoah University. Each year, businesses, educators, and economic development partners in Clarke County, Frederick County, Page County, Rappahannock County, Shenandoah County, Warren County, and Winchester, Virginia, come together to host Worlds of Work. Wow is an annual event for nearly 3,000 eighth graders from the city of Winchester, Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah, Page, and Rappahannock counties. Along with Marlow Auto Group, there were more than 70 businesses showcasing equipment, vehicles, and machinery that students climb into, fix, and manipulate, representing various careers, such as utility providers, banking, manufacturers, public safety agencies, and agriculture. 

World of Works is a career exploration event managed by Laurel Ridge Community College Career Pathways Consortium, in partnership with Barrett Machine, Inc., Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission, Frederick County EDA, Winchester Economic Development Authority, Clarke County Virginia Economic Development, Page County Economic Development, and Shenandoah County Economic Development.

2022 Teacher of the Year Award at Skyline High School 

Front Royal, VA, May 2022: “What the teacher is, Is more important than what they teach” Congratulations to both Grace Bucklen for Teacher of the Year & Tracy Berger for Teacher Support of the Year at Skyline High School in Front Royal –  from all of us at the Marlow Auto Group. Showing our gratitude for what both of you have contributed to the community and the school. We awarded Mrs. Berger a Gift basket and Mrs. Bucklen a fresh detail on her vehicle! Both were very excited and grateful. Their passion for teaching and their dedication to the students is obvious in everything they do. Keep up the good work both of you! Thanks for all you do each and every day

John Handley High School Students Get a Unique Look Into Working at an Automotive Dealership

Winchester, VA, March 2022: “We were able to enrich the Automotive Education at John Handley High School” Local students from John Handley High School in Winchester got a behind the scene look into working at an automotive dealership this past week. We had over 25 students visit the dealership for a tour of the dealership. The tour offers a preview of the workforce while giving students still have time to prepare for the future. In fact, an automotive career is a great career option, for anyone passionate about automobiles loves working practically, and has a knack for problem-solving. After all, automotive careers can offer a decent salary, work diversity, and job satisfaction.

Marlow Automotive Group Donates Alignment Rack to Local Automotive Trade Learning Center

Winchester, VA, February 2022: The Dowell J. Howard Center redefines school for students by teaching skills for life and providing specific vocational training. Their Automotive Technology class received an unexpected addition thanks to a recent donation from the Marlow Auto Group. The donation from the local dealership group included a Hunter alignment rack, a tool for lifting cars so students will be able to access all areas of a vehicle. The donated alignment rack will be used for the Automotive Technology Class. This class is designed to help local students further their automotive learning experience and prepare students for a variety of careers in the automotive industry. 

“We are excited to build on the partnership with Dowel J Howard Center. The donation by Tri-State Nissan of the Hunter Alignment Rack to the Dowel J Howard will provide some of the resources that will enable the students to prepare for a career in the automotive industry” Ed Sullivan, Service & Parts Director for Marlow Automotive Group.
