December 11th 2025 | Winchester, Virginia:
Tri-State Nissan, part of Marlow Auto Group, demonstrated its commitment to community partnership and patient care with the donation of a 2017 Nissan Maxima to the Valley Health Foundation for use at the new Valley Health Rehabilitation Center in Winchester. This initiative represents more than a vehicle donation—it reflects the spirit of collaboration that strengthens the region’s connection between business and healthcare. The Nissan Maxima will be incorporated into rehabilitation programs designed to help patients regain mobility and confidence after injury or illness.

Supporting Patient Recovery Through Real-World Practice

The donated vehicle will be placed in the facility’s rehabilitation area, allowing patients to practice real-world mobility tasks such as entering, exiting, and maneuvering around a car safely as part of their recovery. By incorporating familiar, practical movements into therapy, the center helps patients rebuild strength and independence in a way that directly connects to everyday life. While vehicle donations are not uncommon, this one stood apart—literally. The Maxima was lifted by crane onto the second floor of the construction site, where it will remain a central component of the therapy environment. The sight of the car rising above the structure was both symbolic and inspiring, representing how community partnerships can elevate care to new heights.

The Valley Health Rehabilitation Center Donation

The Valley Health Rehabilitation Center, currently under construction on Linden Drive adjacent to the Winchester Medical Center campus, represents a $75 million investment in local healthcare. When completed, the state-of-the-art facility will provide advanced inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as orthotics, prosthetics, and bionics. Developed in partnership with the nationally recognized Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation organization, the new center will expand access to cutting-edge recovery services for patients throughout the Northern Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas. The facility is expected to open in late 2026 and will serve as a vital resource for those seeking world-class care close to home.

Tri-State Nissan’s Valley Health Rehabilitation Center Donation reinforces Marlow Auto Group’s long-standing dedication to supporting initiatives that strengthen local infrastructure and improve lives. Guided by the group’s core values of Community, Relationships, and Exceeding Expectations, this contribution is another example of how Marlow Auto Group continues to build meaningful partnerships that make a lasting impact. About The Marlow Auto Group

Marlow Auto Group team demonstrating automotive technology during Worlds of Work 2025 at Shenandoah UniversityMarlow Auto Group has proudly served the Northern Shenandoah Valley for over 75 years—but our story begins in 1947 with a decision that set us apart from the start. In the post-World War II era, when cars were scarce and buyers waited months for delivery, our founder, Guy Marlow, chose a different path. Rather than wait in line, he opened a dealership—not just to secure a car for his family, but to help others in the community do the same. That bold, people-first mindset remains at the heart of everything we do.

Over the decades, that one decision grew into a regional family of dealerships: Marlow Motor Company in Front Royal, Tri-State Nissan in Winchester, and Marlow Ford in Luray. As a locally owned and woman-operated business, we continue to grow by staying true to our five core values: Innovation, Integrity, Community, Relationships, and Exceeding Expectations. You’ll find those values in everything we do—from extended service hours that reduce downtime for local businesses to long-standing partnerships with local schools and nonprofits. Marlow Auto Group believes dealerships should do more than sell and service vehicles. They should solve problems, support their communities, and build trust that lasts. Because at Marlow, doing things differently isn’t just how we started. It’s how we lead.
