“Diving into Career Pathways” Event to Support Local Students
Winchester, VA, March 2023: Marlow Auto Group recently attended the “Diving into Career Pathways” event to equip high school students with the skills necessary to succeed as entry-level employees. The event, held at John Handley High School, brought together local employers and workforce training programs to showcase their career paths and provide valuable insights into the opportunities available in the local workforce. Marlow Auto Group Participates in ‘Coffee with a Company’ at John Handley High School
Winchester, VA, February 2023: On Wednesday, February 15, Marlow Auto Group in the community continued with our participation in the “Coffee with a Company” series at John Handley High School. The event took place in the Teachers Lounge, where Marlow Auto Group representatives had the opportunity to share information about their company and the various options available to students. The event format was a 10-15 minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session and networking over coffee and pastries. During the presentation, we highlighted the company’s commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Our Fix Operation Director, Ed Sullivan, and Used Car Director, Greg Strosnider, discussed various job opportunities, ranging from sales and service positions to administrative roles. Volunteered as Judges for District X SkillsUSA Automotive Repair Competition
Winchester, VA, February 2023: On February 11, 2023, the Marlow Automotive Group volunteered to serve as judges for the District 10 SkillsUSA Automotive Maintenance/Light Repair Competition. The competition was at Dowell J Howard Technical Center in Winchester, Virginia. It featured students from Frederick County & Shenandoah County technical school representing Culpepper Technology Center, Dowell J Howard & Triplett Tech Center. As judges for the competition, Allen Dike from Tri-State Nissan, Anthony Cox from Marlow Ford & Ed Sullivan from The Marlow Automotive Group volunteered as judges. The Marlow Automotive Group brought their expertise and knowledge in the automotive industry to evaluate and score the contestants on their skills and knowledge. Click here to continue reading.
