John Handley High School Students Get a Unique Look Into Working at an Automotive Dealership
Winchester, VA., March 2022: Local students from John Handley High School in Winchester got a behind the scene look into working at an automotive dealership this past week. We had over 25 students visit the dealership for a tour of the dealership. The tour offers a preview of the workforce while giving students still have time to prepare for the future. In fact, an automotive career is a great career option, for anyone passionate about automobiles loves working practically, and has a knack for problem-solving. Marlow Automotive Group Donates Alignment Rack to Local Automotive Trade Learning Center
Winchester, VA., February 2022: The Dowell J. Howard Center redefines school for students by teaching skills for life and providing specific vocational training. Their Automotive Technology class received an unexpected addition thanks to a recent donation from the Marlow Auto Group. The donation from the local dealership group included a Hunter alignment rack, a tool for lifting cars so students will be able to access all areas of a vehicle. The donated alignment rack will be used for the Automotive Technology Class. Marlow Ford Partners With The Cheese & Beef Ministry
Luray, VA., December 2022: Rockingham Cooperative in partnership with Page Cooperative introduced the Cheese Ministry & Beef Ministry into Page County with a donation this past Tuesday at Page One of Page County. The Cheese Ministry is an effort originated in 2017 by Rockingham Cooperative, in partnership with Harrisonburg Baptist Church, Verona Food Pantry, and other local community organizations, to support local dairy farmers during a difficult time in the dairy industry as well as supply local food pantries with nutritious cheese products that will provide individuals and families in need with a healthy dairy source.
Camping for Hunger Campaign
Front Royal, VA., November 2021: Marlow Motor Company had the privilege of participating in the 2021 Camping for Hunger Campaign. This is an annual event organized by The River 95.3 in Front Royal. The Camping for Hunger campaign helps the Congregational Community Action Project (C-Cap) feed the hungry in Warren County, everyone’s efforts will feed many local residents. “Helping others should be something natural we all do I truly believe in great things are a series of small things brought together. Annual Triplett Tech Career Fair
Mt Jackson, VA., April 2021: Marlow Automotive Group was once again part of the Triplett Tech Career Fair. Students in Triplett Tech’s second-year programs, primarily seniors, benefited from this networking event The Automotive Technical Training program gives a student the opportunity to develop skills by operating state-of-the-art testing equipment such as the engine computer diagnostic analyzer, trouble code scanner testers, computer four-wheel alignment, computer wheel balancing, and brakes. “We are excited to build on the partnership with Triplett Tech. We were given the opportunity to speak with students from the Automotive Technical Training regarding career paths with our company as well as to conduct individual interviews that will enable the students to prepare for a career in the automotive industry. Marlow Auto Group Donates Vehicles To 2 Local Schools
October 8th 2020, Front Royal, Virginia – Virginian dealership family, Marlow Auto Group, donated a 2015 Ford Focus to Blue Ridge Technical Center in Front Royal, VA and another 2015 Ford Focus to Dowell J. Howard Center in Winchester, VA. The donated vehicles will be used to help local students further their automotive learning experience. Marlow Automotive Group partnered with Blue Ridge Technical Center and Dowell J. Howard Center to gift each school with a vehicle to be used in their automotive education courses. “We are thankful for our partnership with Ford Motor Company, as well as with the Blue Ridge Technical Center and Dowell J. LURAY MAIN STREET BRIDGE OPENING 2019
June 2019, Luray, Virginia – Marlow Ford donated a Ford F-150 Truck to be the first Vehicle to be driven across the bridge. The Town of Luray had the grand opening & ribbon cutting ceremony for the Main Street Bridge Replacement project, on Thursday, June 27,2019. Following the ribbon cutting, Audre King from the West Luray Recreation Center, will be the first to drive across the new Main Street Bridge. Area children accompanied Audre as he made the drive over the bridge in a truck donated for the event by Marlow Ford
REC GET CONNECTED EVENT 2019
June 2019, Winchester VA – Tri-State Nissan had the honor of participating the Rappahannock Get Connected 2019 on June 6th at the Frederick County Fairgrounds. We offered Nissan Leaf test drives, along with a number of gifts for each test drive.

May 2019, Front Royal, Virginia – CONGRATULATIONS Brandon Davis. Brandon is the winner of the 2019 Marlow Motor Company Scholarship. This award is given every year to a student at the Blue Ridge Technical Center. He is currently interning for Marlow Motor Company, as well.
DRIVE4UR COMMUNITY EVENT
During the spring we hosted a Drive4UR Community event. With this event Ford donates $20 for every new vehicle driven. In 2018 we chose to support Anicira – The nonprofit provides adoption and discounted veterinary services to the Harrisonburg, Va. area. Page One of Page County also participated in the event by providing food and refreshments for purchase. All money earned assisted both nonprofits.
CHAIN OF CHECKS MATCH DAY SPONSOR
Since 2013 the Community Foundation of the Northern Shenandoah Valley has served as the fiscal agent for the Chain of Checks, an idea that started in 1986 when morning radio announcer Barry Lee of WINC 92.5 FM asked listeners to send in Christmas cards to decorate the studio and include one dollar for CCAP. Since then, Chain of Checks has raised more than $1.2 million for community nonprofits. The Marlow Auto Group has been a match day sponsor for many years and will continue for many more.
TOYS FOR TOTS OFFICIAL DROP OFF LOCATION
The Marine Toys for Tots Program has been delivering a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters since 1947. Local Toys for Tots Campaigns are the heart and soul of the Marine Toys for Tots Program managed by dedicated United States Marines and local volunteers. Each year all three of our locations (Marlow Motor Company, Tri-State Nissan & Marlow Ford) are registered location for the Toys for Tots drop off. We started Meet Santa to help drive the fundraiser and it has shown remarkable results for our community.
CALIBER COLLISION ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
Caliber Collision has invited us to participate in their annual Rhythm Restoration Food Drive to help fuel a hungry kid’s summer for the past two years. It is just one of our continued commitments to our communities. With Caliber Collision’s help as a collective we have contributed to the 4.3 million meals to 53 food banks across America. They have been sponsoring this drive for 7 years and we hope to work with them each one to come.
BOY SCOUT TROOP VISIT
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character. We had the privilege of hosting a visit from form Local Troop 3 in Winchester. They all learned many about the many different department at the dealership from Sale to Service. We all had a great time.
ANNUAL C-CAP FOOD DRIVE
Marlow Motor Co has had an annual Food Drive for C-CAP Front Royal Since 2011. The primary mission of C-CAP Front Royal is to provide essential, safety net, provisions during periods of need for Warren County families. In 2017 we delivered 665 lbs. of food to the C-CAP and in 2018 we delivered almost 2,000lbs worth of food!!! Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s LOAD THE RAM drive! We can’t wait to do it again!
WORLDS OF WORK EXPO
For consecutive years Marlow Auto Group has participated in Worlds of Work 7th grade career exploration event. Worlds of Work Expo is a career exploration event, Over a two day period, WoW! hosts nearly 3,000 seventh grade students from the region. The event is designed to be a hands-on exploration of possible careers.
ANNUAL MEET SANTA EVENT
In 2017 we established our Meet Santa event. We invite the community to receive a free photo with Santa. We found that many people can’t always afford to purchase the photos from the mall and wanted to close a gap in our community.

Tri-State Nisan was proud to host the unveiling of the Sport Marshall for the 2017 Apple Blossom Festival. Former Pittsburgh Steelers great and “Dancing with the Stars” champion Hines Ward was announced as the event’s Sports Marshal at a ceremony at Tri-State Nissan. We even had yellow Titan pickup truck in the showroom for the announcement, giving a little clue as to the Sports Marshal choice.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MIXER EVENT
Tri-State Nisan had the honor of hosting the Winchester Chamber of Commerce monthly mixers event. The Chamber of Commerce help foster a community that works together to create the best possible environment for people to live, raise their families, and pursue their passions, in the place they love. The Chamber builds your social capital by connecting you to other businesses, giving you access to community leaders, developing relationships and helping you gain visibility in Winchester, Frederick and Clarke County.
