October 2019, Winchester, Virginia – The Marlow Auto Group (Marlow Motor Company, Tri-State Nissan & Marlow Ford) had the honor of participating today in our region’s premier middle school career exploration event. WOW or Worlds of Work 2019.We had a great time with all the students showing them about our businesses, products, and careers we offer.
3rd ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT CAR SHOW
October 2019, Winchester, Virginia – The Marlow Auto Group had the privilege of participating in the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Car Show at Dowell J Howard Center in Winchester. We had a great time and can’t wait to participate next year.
LURAY MAIN STREET BRIDGE OPENING 2019
June 2019, Luray, Virginia – Marlow Ford donated a Ford F-150 Truck to be the first Vehicle to be driven across the bridge. The Town of Luray had the grand opening & ribbon cutting ceremony for the Main Street Bridge Replacement project, on Thursday, June 27,2019. Following the ribbon cutting, Audre King from the West Luray Recreation Center, will be the first to drive across the new Main Street Bridge. Area children accompanied Audre as he made the drive over the bridge in a truck donated for the event by Marlow Ford
REC GET CONNECTED EVENT 2019
June 2019, Winchester VA – Tri-State Nissan had the honor of participating the Rappahannock Get Connected 2019 on June 6th at the Frederick County Fairgrounds. We offered Nissan Leaf test drives, along with a number of gifts for each test drive.
MARLOW MOTOR COMPANY SCHOLARSHIP
May 2019, Front Royal, Virginia – CONGRATULATIONS Brandon Davis. Brandon is the winner of the 2019 Marlow Motor Company Scholarship. This award is given every year to a student at the Blue Ridge Technical Center. He is currently interning for Marlow Motor Company, as well.
DRIVE4UR COMMUNITY EVENT
During the spring we hosted a Drive4UR Community event. With this event Ford donates $20 for every new vehicle driven. In 2018 we chose to support Anicira – The nonprofit provides adoption and discounted veterinary services to the Harrisonburg, Va. area. Page One of Page County also participated in the event by providing food and refreshments for purchase. All money earned assisted both nonprofits.
CHAIN OF CHECKS MATCH DAY SPONSOR
Since 2013 the Community Foundation of the Northern Shenandoah Valley has served as the fiscal agent for the Chain of Checks, an idea that started in 1986 when morning radio announcer Barry Lee of WINC 92.5 FM asked listeners to send in Christmas cards to decorate the studio and include one dollar for CCAP. Since then, Chain of Checks has raised more than $1.2 million for community nonprofits. The Marlow Auto Group has been a match day sponsor for many years and will continue for many more.
TOYS FOR TOTS OFFICIAL DROP OFF LOCATION
The Marine Toys for Tots Program has been delivering a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters since 1947. Local Toys for Tots Campaigns are the heart and soul of the Marine Toys for Tots Program managed by dedicated United States Marines and local volunteers. Each year all three of our locations (Marlow Motor Company, Tri-State Nissan & Marlow Ford) are registered location for the Toys for Tots drop off. We started Meet Santa to help drive the fundraiser and it has shown remarkable results for our community.
CALIBER COLLISION ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
Caliber Collision has invited us to participate in their annual Rhythm Restoration Food Drive to help fuel a hungry kid’s summer for the past two years. It is just one of our continued commitments to our communities. With Caliber Collision’s help as a collective we have contributed to the 4.3 million meals to 53 food banks across America. They have been sponsoring this drive for 7 years and we hope to work with them each one to come.
ANNUAL C-CAP FOOD DRIVE
Marlow Motor Co has had an annual Food Drive for C-CAP Front Royal Since 2011. The primary mission of C-CAP Front Royal is to provide essential, safety net, provisions during periods of need for Warren County families. In 2017 we delivered 665 lbs. of food to the C-CAP and in 2018 we delivered almost 2,000lbs worth of food!!! Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s LOAD THE RAM drive! We can’t wait to do it again!
